On January 19th,2007,Nanjing Medical University established its Second Affiliated School of Clinical Medicine located in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, also know as the Affiliated Children's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, or the Second Red Cross Hospital of Jiangsu Province.

　　The hospital is located in a beautiful natural environment on the bank of the graceful Xiao Tao Yuan Park Lake adjoining the ancient Ming Dynasty city wall near Yi Jiang Men gate in northwest Nanjing.

　　The medical school and hospital are jointly administered with a fully qualified, licensed total staff of 866 professionals dedicated to serving the clinical patient treatment, and medical education and research needs of the greater Nanjing community and Jiangsu Province.While the overall facility complex covers 52044 square meters, the hospital itself, with 600 beds, comprises 28520 square meters.
