Jinfan Wang¡¡,male, of han nationality. Professor Wang was born in Yongkang, Zhejiang province. He began to work in August, 1978. From 1978 to 1982, he studied in Nanjing Medical College, and then worked in this college after he graduated. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, and has got the master¡¯s degree as well as the title of associate professor. Now he is the routine director and secretary-general of Jiangsu Provincial Higher Medical and Pharmic Education Seminar, a routine director of ¡°Chinese Higher Medical Education¡± council. Since 1982, he was a counsellor of Medical Department, deputy director of grade, director of grade, deputy secretary of Postgraduate Students Affairs Office in Nursing Department, First Clinical Medical College General Party Branch deputy secretary, Student Duty Work place deputy chief, deputy secretary of Educational Department,Second General Party Branch deputy secretary and so on.
He specializes in doctor-patient communication, clinical medicine education, the management of medical education, and college students¡¯ ideological and political education. Since 2000,he has kept steps with the reality of rapid development of China¡¯s economy and society and the characteristic of national condition, he have mainly explored and innovated in the field of medicine and the medical education: First, founded new medical applied and interdisciplinary subject,which was Doctor-patient Communication, and been chief editor of the Doctor-patient Communication textbook ,which belonged to the ¡°Eleventh Five-Year¡± national-level Plan of general higher education, and established this curriculum, and also presided the Ministry of Health¡¯s national-level program on continuation medicine education ,which was ¡®Teaching and Practice of Doctor-patient Communication¡¯ in 2005 and 2006 ; Second, educated the medical students¡¯ thinking ability of diagnosis and treatment, implemented ¡°the simulation method of diagnosis and treatment¡± in clinical teaching and the examination of practice skill, and has been chief editor of the Example Analysis of Thinking of Diagnosis and Treatment, which was an innovative textbook, and also projected and was chief editor of the Method of Teaching and Training in Thinking of Diagnosis and Treatment, which was video teaching film, and been the general planner of Analysis of Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Cases, which were the postgraduate series textbooks; Third, optimized the clinical practice teaching and management, and founded Teaching Plan and Management on Practice Courses, which were new methods of clinical practice, in order to strengthen and standardize the education function of the hospital by the curriculum mechanism of the school.
Professor Wang once attained the prize of ¡°Jiangsu Provincial Outstanding Educator¡±, the excellent and second prizes of Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Achievement in 2004 and two first prizes of School-level teaching achievement.
