The introduction to the Office of Students Affairs
　The fourth clinical medical college's students working office mainly works on managing student's daily business. It is composed of two branches, Wutai school area and Jiangning school area. The Wutai school area mainly works for the daily business management of higher-grade undergraduate (four grades, five grades undergraduate and four to seven grades of seven- year program students), the Jiangning school area primarily works for the daily business management of the lower-grade undergraduate (one to three grades undergraduate).


The fourth clinical medical college's students working office has a director, an assistant director and a section member. The average age only has 26 years old. They manage the daily business of the entire college, nearly 600 undergraduate. They work earnestly , responsibly, diligently, and complete all works which are arranged by the institute in time.Making it that “Foster by education; Foster by management”. They are warm, bright, full of the energy and dedicate their youth to the development of the Nanjing medical university.

About the Fourth School of Clinical Medicine

The Fourth School of Clinical Medicine originated from the pediatrics teaching and research group of Jiangsu medical college. This group was established in the autumn of 1953, and then began to recruit five-year undergraduate students. The department of pediatrics was established in December of 1959, and had recruited three-year graduate students since 1962. Pediatrics was first authorized for master’s degree-granting by the State Council in 1981, and was authorized for doctoral degree-granting in 1988. In 1994, pediatrics was awarded for provincial key discipline by Jiangsu province government. In 1999, it was also authorized for pediatric post-doctorate mobile station. In July of 1999, the department of pediatrics was abolished and then the Second School of Clinical Medicine was set up

 

Jinfan Wang,male, of han nationality. Professor Wang was born in Yongkang, Zhejiang province. He began to work in August, 1978. From 1978 to 1982, he studied in Nanjing Medical College, and then worked in this college after he graduated. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, and has got the master’s degree as well as the title of associate professor. Now he is the routine director and secretary-general of Jiangsu Provincial Higher Medical and Pharmic Education Seminar, a routine director of “Chinese Higher Medical Education” council.

Feartured Professors

Ronghua Chen,　 male, of Han nationality, born in Shanghai in July 1940, has been the professor of treatment, the professor of medicine, the doctoral supervisor and the recipient of the State Council’s special subsidy for experts.

Xirong Guo　, male, of Han nationality, born in Baoying county of Jiangsu province in January 1966, has been the professor of medicine, the doctoral supervisor and the young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions.
