During the 10th five-year plan, one national key laboratory nurturing base, one key laboratory at the ministry level, two key laboratories co-established by the ministry and the province, 7 provincial key laboratories and engineening research centers were established. The university has won 530 research program above provincial level, Among which there were 1 national key scientific and research program, 3 national ‘863’ programs, 3 ‘973’ programs, and 119 national netural scientific achievements at all levels, which was 4.4 times ad many as those during the 9th five-year plan. We have won 877 awards for scientific aschinevements at all levels, including 3 national awards and 112 provincial awards. The unmber of dissertations cited by SCI has been increased form 17 in 2001 to over 100 in 2005, including on doctoral dissertation as one of the ‘Top National 100 Excellent Doctor's Dissertations’.
